Our Club History
The Capital City Corvette Club was established in 1990 in Salem, Oregon. The purpose of the club is to foster knowledge, appreciation and interest in the Corvette automobile; to provide history and technical information between Corvette owners; to encourage skillful and safe handling of the automobile; to provide members with opportunities for club events, concourse, rallies, road tours and appropriate social events. A Social event is scheduled on or around the 4th Thursday of the month.
Membership
Membership in Capital City Corvettes is a Membership Unit, limited to a maximum of two adult persons, at least one of which owns a corvette. Applicants for membership are PROSPECTIVE members for a period of 90 days, during which time the applicant must attend 2 club meetings and one club event. At the end of the prospective period, an initiation fee of $100.00 will be paid. The fee includes 1 year dues and embroidered club emblems on jackets purchased by each member. Thereafter the annual dues are $50.00.
